About Smartpur
A pioneering digital village ecosystem designed to build resilience through technology-enabled entrepreneurship.
Our Mission & Vision
Smartpur is Nokia's flagship CSR initiative - a pioneering digital village ecosystem designed to empower rural and remote communities across India. Rooted in Nokia's vision of "Connecting the Unconnected," Smartpur bridges gaps in access to essential services while strengthening rural resilience through technology-enabled entrepreneurship and grassroots capacity building.
Facilitated by KPMG and implemented by REACHA, the project establishes digital centres in underserved villages, managed by trained local youth entrepreneurs. This report covers 90 centres across six geographies - Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Jammu, Kashmir, Maharashtra and Rajasthan - delivering services across five interconnected pillars.
