How This Centre Works

NAGESH
Centre Facilitator
I am Nagesh R, serving as a Centre Facilitator at the Nokia Smartpur Centre implemented by REACHA. With my academic background in M.A. and B.Ed., this opportunity has enabled me to apply my education and skills in meaningful ways to support the community while advancing professionally. In my role, I assist villagers in accessing government welfare schemes, digital services, financial inclusion opportunities, and livelihood support, thereby bridging the gap between rural households and essential resources. I am committed to fostering digital empowerment, awareness, and inclusive development, ensuring that every community member benefits from the services of the Smartpur Centre. This journey has provided me with both professional growth and personal fulfillment, as I contribute to building a stronger, more connected rural society.
Our Initiatives Transforming Lives

Community Context
Who we serve
The Smartpur Centre serves as a comprehensive hub for rural and underserved populations, with a strong focus on women, youth, farmers, self‑help group (SHG) members, students, senior citizens, and marginalized households. It ensures equitable access to government welfare schemes, digital and financial services, skill development opportunities, and livelihood support. By fostering community engagement and building partnerships with local stakeholders, the centre effectively addresses diverse needs and drives inclusive and sustainable development. Its mission is to empower every community member by enhancing knowledge, expanding opportunities, and improving the overall quality of life at the grassroots level.
Challenges addressed
The Smartpur Center has addressed key challenges in rural communities, such as limited access to digital services, lack of awareness of government welfare schemes, financial exclusion, and livelihood opportunities. Through awareness programs, digital literacy initiatives, skill development trainings, and financial inclusion activities, the center has helped connect communities with essential services. It has supported women, youth, and farmers by linking them to government schemes, banking services, and entrepreneurship opportunities. By promoting community participation and working with local stakeholders, the Smartpur Center has contributed to improving social and economic well-being at the grassroots level.
