How This Centre Works

The Gattakamadhenahalli Smartpur Centre functions as a community resource centre that brings essential digital services closer to the people. Managed by a trained Centre Facilitator, the centre supports villagers by providing access to government schemes, online applications, digital education, financial services, healthcare information, and livelihood opportunities. It regularly organizes awareness programmes, skill development training, and community meetings to improve digital knowledge and encourage self-reliance. By working in partnership with the Gram Panchayat, schools, self-help groups, youth, and government departments, the centre ensures that every resident can easily access important services and benefit from digital technology, helping to build a stronger and more connected community.

Opportunities don’t just change lives; they create pathways for others to grow. I am Manjunath M, serving as a Centre Facilitator at the Nokia Smartpur Centre implemented by REACHA. This role has given me the chance to grow professionally while supporting my community. Every day, I help villagers access government schemes, digital services, and financial inclusion opportunities that were once out of reach. What began as a job has become a mission — to empower rural households, build trust, and ensure that no family is left behind in the digital age.
