Center Facilitator

Jeevraj Manat, a resident of Bhatwada Gram Panchayat, Dungarpur, Rajasthan, is the son of Mr. Govardhan Lal Manat and Mrs. Sansar Devi. Driven by a commitment to improve access to government, banking, and digital services for rural communities, he started operating a small service center in his village. In the initial phase, his center functioned with very limited resources, including a single laptop, one printer, and a Bank BC (Business Correspondent) facility. Due to the lack of adequate infrastructure and digital equipment, he was unable to provide the full range of essential services efficiently to the community. As a result, his monthly income remained limited to around ₹10,000. A major turning point came in September 2024, when his center became part of the SMARTPUR Project, implemented by REACHA with support from Nokia. Under the project, his service center was upgraded with modern digital infrastructure and essential resources, enabling him to significantly enhance the quality and reach of his services. Today, Jeevraj Manat's SMARTPUR Centre is fully equipped with modern facilities, including a dedicated service room, two laptops, two printers, storage cabinets, Bank BC devices, a webcam, a solar power system, an inverter with uninterrupted power backup, tables, and chairs. These improvements have enabled him to deliver banking, government, and digital services more efficiently, quickly, and reliably to the local community. The enhanced infrastructure has led to a significant increase in the number of beneficiaries visiting the center. Consequently, his monthly income has increased from approximately ₹10,000 to around ₹22,000, strengthening his livelihood while expanding access to essential services for rural residents. Jeevraj Manat's journey is an inspiring example of how the right infrastructure, technology, and institutional support can transform a rural entrepreneur into an effective digital service provider. His story demonstrates that investments in digital empowerment not only improve the livelihood of a service center operator but also ensure that rural communities receive timely, high-quality access to government, banking, and digital services. Expressing his gratitude, Jeevraj acknowledged the support of REACHA and the SMARTPUR Project, stating that the initiative has brought a meaningful and lasting positive change to both his life and his community.
